The target fusing temperature is calculated based on the readings of themopiles above the fusing unit and other temperature sensors that monitor the temperatures of the heating roller and pressure roller. These readings are used to keep the heating roller and pressure roller at the correct temperatures for optimum performance.

Exercise caution in the adjustment of SP1111-006, SP1111-008. Adjusting these could affect other settings that could cause paper to curl. For example if you change SP1-111-006 to correct curl for Thk4, this change in setting could after other paper (Thk1 to Thk4)  that references this setting. For example, if you adjust Thk4 to correct curl by raising the setting of SP 1-111-006, this change will also affect the settings for Thk1 to Thk4.
