Turn off the host machine.
- The power supply to the bookbinder must be off.
- Plug the bookbinder power cord into its power source.
- Locate the breaker switch [A] at the right lower corner of the machine below the power cord.
- Raise the breaker switch [B] so that you can see the "|" under the switch. This is the ON position. (Ignore this step if the breaker switch is already at the "|" position.)
- Use the tip of a small screwdriver to push the breaker test button [C].
The breaker switch should flip to the "O" (OFF) position. This indicates that the breaker switch is operating normally.
If the breaker switch does not flip to the "O" position, the switch must be replaced. Reset the switch to the "|" (ON) position for normal operation.
- The bookbinder will not turn on if the breaker switch is not reset to the "|" position.
