1. Remove the SPDF unit. (SPDF Unit)
  2. Remove the scanner front cover. (Scanner Front Cover)
  3. Remove the scanner upper cover [A].
  4. Remove screws of light shield [A], and then let it float free. The shield is attached with tape [B] so do not remove it.
  5. Remove the scanner motor (M5) with the bracket [A].
  6. Remove the scanner motor (M5) [A].
