Prepare the following in advance:

a) The custom paper which is specified in the tray paper settings.

b) Registration tool

The registration tool is made by combining the following sheets and covers, which are service parts. The registration tool is different for each paper color and should be used in the following combinations.

  • For white paper: Gray Sheet, White Cover
  • For color paper: Gray Sheet, White Cover
  • For gray paper: Black Sheet, White Cover
  • For black paper: Gray Sheet, White Cover

  • If an error occurs with color paper, redo the adjustment as follows.
    • If the color of the paper is closer to white (than black), use the registration tool for white paper.
    • If the color of the paper is closer to black (than white), use the registration tool for black paper.

 

How to Combine the Sheet and Cover
