Dirty dust shield glass and/or clogged doctor gap.

Cause 2
Foreign substance in the development unit.
| Symptom in detail | 1 or 2 lines of 0.1 to 0.5 mm width appear at approximately 5 to 10 mm from the leading edge. | 
| Cause in detail | Image developed on the drum is scraped off by a foreign substance stuck between the development roller and the drum. |
