- Turn ON the machine
- Enter the SP mode.
- Push the PM parts counter reset button in the PM Parts display (Image Transfer Belt Unit or Image Transfer Belt).
- Turn OFF the machine.
- Replace the image transfer belt.
Attach the faceplate and toner supply unit.
- Do not install the belt cleaning fan yet.
- Rotate the blade release lever [A] to move the cleaning blade away from the ITB.
- Attach the drawer unit cover.
- Remove the paper transfer belt unit. (Paper Transfer Belt Unit)
- Pull out (open) the drawer unit.
Keep the drawer unit open, and then turn ON the machine main power.
- The automatic adjustment will not be performed when the machine is turned ON, since the drawer unit is pulled out/opened.
- Enter the SP mode and choose SP2-696-001 (Force Apply Lubricant Execute).
Push [Execute] on the operation panel and then push the drawer unit into the machine.
- When the drawer unit is pushed into the machine, lubrication starts automatically. This operation takes about 3 minutes to complete.
- Turn OFF the machine when the lubrication finishes (the machine stops).
- Withdraw the drawer unit and rotate the blade release lever in order to make the cleaning blade contact the ITB.
- Re-install the belt cleaning fan.
- Re-attach the paper transfer belt unit.
- Push the drawer unit into the machine.
Turn ON the machine.
- The machine will then execute the automatic corrections.
