Turn OFF the machine and disconnect the machine power cord before you do this procedure.
Attach the arm stay [A] for the operation panel, provided with the main machine.
Attach the operation panel arm [A], provided with the main machine.
Position the hook of the operation panel arm [A] over the arm stay [B].
Route the harness [B] around the operation panel arm [A].
- Attach the the rear cover [B] and the front cover [A], provided with the main machine.
- Remove the operation panel rear lower cover [A].
- Remove the hinge [A].
- Attach the hinge [A], provided with this option.
- Place the operation panel [A] on the upper front cover of the main machine with LCD facing down.
Make sure that DIP switches 3 and 7 of the operation panel [A] are set to ON.
If the DIP switch settings are not correct, the machine will issue SC672.
- Pass the harness [A] through the cut-out [C] of the arm bracket [B].
- Connect the harnesses [B] and [C] to the operation panel, and then route them as shown below.
- Fix the ground cable [A].
- Attach the arm bracket [A] to the operation panel, and then fasten the harness [B] with the clamp.
- Attach the operation panel [A], fitting it on the hooks of the hinge [B].
- Route the harness as shown below.
- Attach the operation panel rear upper cover [A] and the operation panel rear lower cover [B], provided with this option.
Attach the arm upper cover [A] and the screw covers [B], provided with the main machine.
Attach the arm cover [A], provided with the main machine.
Attach the screw covers [A], provided with the main machine, on the arm cover [B].
- Remove the rear middle cover. (Rear Middle Cover)
Remove the controller box cover [A].
Change all the DIP switches [B] on the controller board [A] to OFF.
DIP switches 6 and 8 are set to ON as the default setting.
- Attach the controller box cover and rear middle cover.
Remove the protection sheet [A].
- Plug in the machine and turn on the main power.
- Enter SP mode, and then execute SP5-801-001 (Memory Clear: All Clear).
