- Make sure that the following settings (1) to (3) are not at their factory defaults.
(1) Supervisor login password
(2) Administrator login name
(3) Administrator login password
If any of these settings is at a factory default, ask the customer to change the settings before you perform the installation procedure. - Make sure that “Machine Management” is ON.
[User Tools/Counter] key -> [System Settings] -> [Administrator Tools] -> [Administrator Authentication Management] -> [Machine Management] -> [On]
If this setting is OFF, ask the customer to change the setting to ON before you perform the installation procedure. - Make sure that “Administrator Tools” is enabled (selected).
[User Tools/Counter] key -> [System Settings] -> [Administrator Tools] -> [Administrator Authentication Management] -> [Machine Management] -> [On] -> [Select available settings] -> [Administrator Tools]
If this setting is disabled (not selected), ask the customer to enable (select) the setting before you perform the installation procedure.
