- Remove the EEPROM from the old engine board.
- Install the removed EEPROM on the new engine board, with the mark [A] pointing to the left side of the board.
- Replace the EEPROM if the EEPROM on the old engine board is defective.
- Keep the EEPROM away from objects that can cause static electricity. Static electricity can damage EEPROM data.
- Make sure that the EEPROM is correctly installed on the engine board.
