- Before doing the following procedure, turn OFF the print server power switch and the printer main power switch, then disconnect the power cords.
- Connect the interface cable [A] to the Gigabit Ethernet port of the printer.
Connect the interface cable which is connected to the printer to the Gigabit Ethernet port (bottom) [A] of the print server.
Connect the interface cable which is connected to a network to the Gigabit Ethernet port (top) [B] of the print server.- Connect the power interlock USB cable to the slot on the controller box of the printer.
- Do the following three steps.
Connect the power interlock USB cable [A] to the USB port for power interlock on the print server.
- Make sure that the ferrite core is attached firmly on the power interlock USB cable.
- Set the power interlock switch [B] to the EN position.
- Connect the power cord [C] to the print server.
- Plug the power cord of the print server into the outlet.
