LAN cable connected?

Check the LAN cable connection.

Firewall/NAT installed?

The firewall cannot be breached. Send by another method (Fax, Internet Fax)

Gatekeeper/SIP server installed correctly?

Contact the network administrator.

  • The sender machine displays this error code when the sender fax is a Ricoh model.

Power to Gatekeeper/SIP server turned ON?

Contact the network administrator.

  • The sender machine displays this error code when the sender fax is a Ricoh model.

IP address/host name of Gatekeeper/SIP server correct on the sender’s side?

Request the sender to check the IP address/host name.

  • The sender machine displays this error code when the sender fax is a Ricoh model.

DNS server registered when Gatekeeper/SIP server host name specified on sender’s side?

Contact the network administrator.

  • The sender machine displays this error code when the sender fax is a Ricoh model.

Enable H.323/Enable SIP SW set to on?

Request the sender to check the settings.

User Parameter SW 34 Bit 0/SW 34 Bit 1

  • Only if the remote sender fax is a Ricoh fax.

Local fax IP address registered?

Register the IP address.

Local fax Alias number registered?

Register the Alias number.

Network bandwidth too narrow?

Request the system administrator to increase the bandwidth.

Lower the start modem reception baud rate on the receiving side.

Remote fax cancelled transmission?

Check whether the remote fax cancelled the transmission.

Local fax registered in Gatekeeper/SIP server?

Contact the network administrator.
