- Single-sheet Fold: The paper bumps against the 1st stopper [A] and makes an arch in the paper near the 1st fold nip [B]. With this arch, paper is fed into the 1st fold nip [B] to be half-folded.
- Double-sheet Fold: 1 to 3 sheets of paper are pre-stacked while bumping against the 1st stopper [A]. The fold plate [C] presses the paper into the 1st fold nip [B] and the paper is folded into a double-sheet half-fold.
