The position of the contact sensors on the left side of the vertical transport unit is shown below.

[A]: Tray 1 Vertical Transport Contact Sensor

[B]: Tray 1 Vertical Transport Exit Contact Sensor

[C]: Tray 2 Vertical Transport Exit Contact Sensor

  1. Remove the vertical feed unit (Vertical Feed Unit)
  2. Remove the spring and the sensor bracket [A].
  3. Turn over the sensor bracket, release the edge saddle, and disconnect the connector of the sensor.
  4. Remove the tray 1 vertical transport contact sensor from the sensor bracket.
