This problem is caused by a variety of factors. Implement the following measures.
In Custom Paper Settings, set 112: [Blower Fan] to “initial value +10%.”
If the problem occurs again, proceed to the next step.
In Custom Paper Settings, set 112: [Blower Fan] to “initial value +20%.”
If the problem occurs again, proceed to the next step.
In Custom Paper Settings, change 117: [Switch Paper Load Upper Limit] from [High] (12mm) to [Low] (18mm).
If the problem occurs again, proceed to the next step.
Manually adjust the paper load upper limit (+1mm).
If the problem occurs again, proceed to the next step.
Manually adjust the paper load upper limit (+2mm).
If the problem occurs again, proceed to the next step.
Manually adjust the paper load upper limit (+3mm).
Manually Adjusting the Paper Load Upper Limit (Corresponding to the Double Feed)
Loosen the screw on the sensor bracket [A].
Use the scale shown in the diagram below as a guideline to adjust the sensor bracket by sliding up and down.
Adjust by sliding in increments of 1mm from the reference position [A].
Tighten the screw on the sensor bracket.
When tightening the screw, use your hand to firmly hold the sensor bracket in the proper position and prevent it from sliding.
