Solution

1To identify the affected color, print three full-page, solid-fill A3 or DLT sheets for each of cyan, yellow, magenta, and black.

2Check whether the problem occurs at the front or back of the paper.

<If the problem affects single color at the front of the paper>

Proceed to the solutions in "Horizontal Black (color) Streaks (1)".

<If the problem affects multiple colors at the front of the paper>

Replace the ITB cleaning unit.

<If the problem occurs at the back of the paper>

Replace the paper transfer unit.

Note

  • After taking the above measures, do the color calibration adjustment of the external controller.
