EEPROM on the BCU

CAUTION

  • Keep EEPROM away from any objects that can cause static electricity. Static electricity can damage EEPROM data.

1Make sure that you have the SMC report (factory settings). This report comes with the machine.

2Print out the SMC data (SP5-990-001).

3Turn the main power switch off.

4Install an SD card into SD card slot 2. Then turn the main power on.

5Copy the EEPROM data to an SD card (SP5-824-001) onto the SD card.

6Turn off the main power switch. Then unplug the power cord.

7Replace the EEPROM on the BCU and reassemble the machine.

8Plug in the power cord. Then turn the main power switch on.

When you do this, SC995 will be displayed. However, DO NOT turn off the main power switch. Continue with this procedure.

9Enter the machine serial number (SP-811-001).

Note

  • For information on how to configure SP5-811-001, contact your supervisor or support center.

10Set the machine state destination (SP-996-001).

Note

  • For information on how to configure SP5-996-001, contact your supervisor or support center.

11Turn the main power switch off and on.

Note

  • If the BCU serial number is not entered correctly, SC995-01 (serial number entry error) appears.

12Execute SP5-825-001 to download the EEPROM data in the SD onto the new EEPROM.

13Turn off the main power switch.

14Remove the SD card from SD card slot 2.

15Turn the main power switch on.

16In accordance with SMC data, specify the UP and SP mode settings.
