1Prepare a formatted SD card.

2Make sure that the write-protection on the SD card is off.

3Turn OFF the main power.

4Remove the controller cover. (MP 501/601: Controller Cover, SP 5300/5310: Controller Cover)

5Insert the SD card into SD Card Slot 2 (lower) [A].

6Turn ON the main power.

7Enter the SP mode.

8Execute SP5-846-051 (Backup All Addr Book).

9Exit the SP mode, and then turn OFF the main power.

10Remove the SD card form the SD Card Slot 2 (lower).

11Reassemble the machine.

Note

  • If the capacity of SD card is not enough to store the local user information, an error message is displayed.

  • Carefully handle the SD card, which contains user information. Do not take it back to your location.
